Obituary for Zackary Mayhue Davis

Zackary Mayhue Davis, 28, of Christiana, TN, passed away on September 1, 2018, in Winchester, TN

Celebration of life will be 1pm September 29, 2018 at 8127 Short Creek Road, Christiana, TN 37037. Services will be a speech by his wife and anyone wishing to say some words about him. It will be followed by the military honors. There will be food and watching of the Tennessee game. The family requests that attendees please wear Tennessee shirts or orange/white that day.

Zack was born in Florida to Johnnie and Cindy Davis on February 10, 1990. He went to school in Christiana/Murfreesboro. He married Chardonae Davis on March 13, 2013 in Honolulu, HI. He worked as a Commerical Manager for Autozone for one year. He was a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and served in the United States Army. He loved to watch Tennessee Football, Hunt, fish, cookout for family/friends, and most of all he loved being a father.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Otis Mayhue Davis; grandmother, Betty Ruth Davis; nephew, Levi Davis; uncle, Wayne Davis; and aunt, Jackie Brandon.

He is survived by his wife, Chardonae Davis; daughter’s, Jade and Savannah Davis; step daughter, Haleigh Durham; mother and father, Cynthia Davis and Johnnie Davis; and brothers, Johnnie Davis, Jr., Thomas Brandon, and Lance Cawthon; and many more family members.
The family wishes to give a big thank you to everyone who has reached out in their time of need and a special thank you to Smith Family Funeral & Cremation Services for all their help.

In Lieu of flowers, the family has requested house plants to cherish for years to come.
