Obituary for Raleigh Boatman Wallace

Raleigh Boatman Wallace, age 84, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018.
He was born in Cleveland Tennessee to parents Clarence and Bertha Wallace.
He is preceded in death by his parents Clarence Sherman Wallace and Bertha Marie Myers;
His loving wife, Willma McCulley Wallace; Brothers, Arnold Wallace, Archie Wallace, Marshall Wallace and wife Virginia; Sisters, Georgia Wallace and Mary Tinsley and husband Wayne.
Survivors include his four children Joecasa Creel and husband John of Birmingham Alabama, Delta Jernigan and husband Craig of Pace Florida, Cyndi Bonifay and Husband Ken of Pensacola Florida, his only son, Buddy Raleigh Boatman 11 of Birmingham Alabama ; Grandchildren, Jessica Wallace of Birmingham Alabama, Cody Jernigan Carroll and husband Jacob of Pensacola Florida , Hannah Furr of Tampa Florida; Ryan and Dillon of Birmingham.

He enlisted into the U.S. Navy in 1956 and retired in 1976. He was stationed in Sanford Florida, Memphis Tennessee, Key West Florida, Jacksonville Florida and Pensacola Florida where he retired. He also did tours on the USS Shangri-La, USS Saratoga and USS Lexington.

He was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Pensacola Florida.
He love to fish, hunt, and put puzzles together at the Tennessee Veterans Home in Murfreesboro, TN.
He loved God, his family, and Country.
